The IE Forum Rules

With that being said, here are the rules for the Infinitely Excellent Message Forum-

Usernames
1. You are allowed one username. If you forgot your password to your account, do NOT create a new one. Request your password as indicated at log in, or contact the Admin directly. If you create more than one username, every account after the first will be deleted.
2. Do not create a username with fowl language in it. No exceptions. The Staff reserves the right to edit or delete a username, if deemed inappropriate for any reason.

Making Threads
3. Be direct when posting the title of a topic and make sure the title relates to the point of your post.
4. Select the correct board for the the topic you are posting.

Topics
5. Stay on topic in topics as best you can. We won't be anal about off topic chatter, but don't abuse our leniency here on the boards. If you should start another topic within a topic our moderators can split the topic in two and put the new topic into the appropriate category/board. If you feel this needs to be done, please contact the moderator for that board, or a Forum Moderator, so it can be taken care of. However, do not make a habit of splitting topic conversations this way.

Grammar
6. Use proper grammar in your posts, as best you can. This means: use periods, commas, quotation marks, and capitalize the first letter in the first word of ever sentence. It may sound anal, but it's very hard for some people to read and understand posts when your message is a jumble of run-on sentences that don't make sense. Slang is acceptable. Anything illegible, is not.
The Admin and Moderators reserve the right to edit posts to correct your grammar. If they constantly have to edit your posts, you will be warned.

Language
7. Foul language will be tolerated only when not used in gratuity. PG-13 language is allowed, with a minimal amount of R-Rated language.

Image & Post Content
8. There will be NO Pornographic imagery allowed on this forum. If we find you have a pornographic avatar, an image in your signature banner, or that you've posted an image of pornography you WILL be Banned. NO EXCEPTIONS.
9. Do not post personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, etc. It is unsafe to do so in a large forum where you don’t know everyone. We reserve the right to protect your personal information. You are more than welcome to send sensitive information through a private message.

Treatment of Others
10. There is absolutely NO defaming another user allowed on this forum. It will not be tolerated. If you say anything we feel crosses this line, you will be banned. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Expressing your Opinion
Here at Infinitely Excellent, we encourage users to express their opinions, positive or negative, in a controlled manor. We really enjoy hearing what you have to say. However, keep in mind that negative opinions do not give you a license to flame or speak ill of another, user or otherwise. This includes, but is not limited to a person’s religious and sexual preferences, ethnicity, gender, race or creed.

Warnings
When you break the less offensable rules, you will be be warned in topics and in a private message. Failure to comply with the rules on multiple occasions will result in being Banned.

Reporting Abuse
If you wish to report abuse contact a Forum Moderator or The Administrator. Be sure to mention the IE forum in the subject, so that the email is not viewed as spam and accidentally deleted. We ask that you report any abuse you see. You can remain anonymous when you report abuse. Help us to keep these forums user-friendly.

Moderators
The duty of a Moderator is to keep the forums clean, visually and content wise. Their duty is to make sure the Board(s) they are looking after are kept in good shape, and are a friendly place for users to post in. They assist the Administrator in enforcing the rules. IE is a pretty friendly community, so you may know some of the Moderators, or even The Admin, personally. However, to keep things fair, we cannot play favorites with those we know. So we would ask that you keep that in mind next time one of us makes a comment in a topic. We are just trying to keep the forum running smoothly and correctly. Remember, please do not take it personally. If you break the rules, you have to understand that we are just doing our job of upholding them. We love you guys very much.
